This post is going to be very short… mostly because this is one of the easiest craft projects I have ever undertaken! As part of Project Pinterest, The Blessingway Edition I decided to make my own confetti to sprinkle on table tops, in gift bags, etc. I chose two paper punches for this purpose from my local craft store; 1 butterfly punch and one daisy punch. They are quite inexpensive, obviously reusable and versatile too (think scrapbooking, card making, crafting projects/school projects for kids, etc.). What I love most about this little DIY exercise is not so much the satisfaction of the crafting itself (after all it is rather repetitive), but rather being able to choose my own lovely papers (I found a great selection of scrapbooking papers on sale and also used thin card and tissue paper) and seeing how I could colour-coordinate my own confetti perfectly to match my party decor/theme. It really did look so pretty and whimsical scattered around plates of cupcakes and on the window sill under fairy lights. I plan on using the remaining paper to create keep-sake artwork for my baby-on-the-way

Whilst at the craft store I also found a heart paper punch and a cupid one, both on sale at just 29 SEK (which I am pretty sure is under 5 USD). Valentine’s Day here we come
